Eusebio Bettini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guntademaro Herzell in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Upeo AFC's Eusebio Bettini got control of the ball when Abel Liñán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eufrasio Mardones charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eufrasio Mardones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Panilonco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eufrasio Mardones to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Bettini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Herzell's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute Guntademaro Herzell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Bettini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Héctor David Naviedes during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Upeo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Héctor David Naviedes to maneuver through the defense. Firmín Forlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Justino Píriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Artaza kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Liñán got free with Eusebio Bettini in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match, Guntademaro Herzell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eusebio Bettini saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Liñán got free with Eusebio Bettini in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Héctor David Naviedes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 37 minutes had been played. Héctor David Naviedes hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Abel Liñán left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panilonco AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 42 played minutes Panilonco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Navarrete. If Firmín Forlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Babarovic to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Abel Liñán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panilonco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Liñán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel Liñán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Babarovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Píriz having to interfere. Eusebio Bettini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guntademaro Herzell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 66th minute of the match Ernesto Daniel Pascual completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ernesto Daniel Pascual a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 67th match minute, Upeo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Daniel Pascual to maneuver through the defense. Panilonco AFC's Asier Abuauad couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 68th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Upeo AFC. Filiberto Dagorret kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Guntademaro Herzell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebio Bettini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eufrasio Mardones struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Eusebio Bettini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panilonco AFC. 78 minutes into the match, Guntademaro Herzell notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Upeo AFC's Eusebio Bettini. Eusebio Bettini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Abel Liñán, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 82 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Eusebio Bettini was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Mateo Babarovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eufrasio Mardones got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st match minute, Panilonco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eufrasio Mardones to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Bettini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Liñán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panilonco AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
