Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Panilonco AFC's Guntademaro Herzell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guntademaro Herzell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efraín Arraño having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Lorencio Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justino Píriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manu Olavarrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorencio Bueno during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panilonco AFC's Lorencio Bueno got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Panilonco AFC's zone, Manu Olavarrieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Píriz came out of the goal and Manu Olavarrieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Píriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manu Olavarrieta's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Manu Olavarrieta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justino Píriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Piga AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guntademaro Herzell fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 26th play minute Abel Liñán came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Efraín Arraño. 1-1. Efraín Arraño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Herzell's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Justino Píriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Cangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Manu Olavarrieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Píriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lorencio Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Panilonco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Cangas came free, but Justino Píriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Guntademaro Herzell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Remigio Cangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Píriz having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manu Olavarrieta made a kick off. Justino Píriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariano Barnard in the 54th minute of the match. Piga AFC's Efraín Arraño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guntademaro Herzell in the 58th minute of play. Nicodemo Zumelzu hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Remigio Cangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Píriz having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Piga AFC's Manu Olavarrieta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Píriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Piga AFC's Remigio Cangas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. If Guntademaro Herzell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Piga AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Piga AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
