The supporters of Central booed when Alsore AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutenio Respaldiza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Pedro José Guillestegui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Bolton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Pedro José Guillestegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro José Guillestegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino Bolton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Alsore AFC's Reinaldo Orden got a free kick in the 12th minute. Adelino Bolton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro José Guillestegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Pedro José Guillestegui made the kick off in the second half. Adelino Bolton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro José Guillestegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Eliazar Dawson's late challenge caught a Alsore AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 96 minutes, Ariano Fuenzalida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alsore AFC and the Central players grew even worse after the yellow card.
