Benjamín Gertosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Aliste in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Honorio Villagra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Cabecera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Aliste came free, but Cecilio Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Israel Segarra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabecera FC the free kick. In the 16th minute, Israel Segarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reces D´Etigny during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes Mani got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Mazuelas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Isassi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cecilio Escobar saved Cabecera FC from getting behind. Cabecera FC's Cecilio Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Isassi in the 36th minute of play. Pol Friederichs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 47 minutes, Benjamín Gertosio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabecera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamín Gertosio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamín Gertosio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cecilio Escobar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Isassi in the 55th minute of the match. Aníbal Isassi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Escobar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Reces D´Etigny kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelino Aliste during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mani's Marcelino Aliste got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Diego Galleguillos fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mani's protests and gave Diego Galleguillos a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Mani got a freekick which was hit by Diego Galleguillos. If Pol Friederichs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Mani got a freekick which was hit by Juan Carlos Salazar. Pol Friederichs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexandro Manghy having to make a save. Benjamín Gertosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Alexandro Manghy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mani getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Juan Carlos Salazar hit a great ball. When Ramiro Cavada fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mani's protests and gave Ramiro Cavada a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Mani:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cabecera FC:s goal.
