An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Raúl Villaseñor in the 6th minute of play forced Renaca FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Albert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Juan Raúl Villaseñor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Albert was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Renaca FC's Adam Bahamondes got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 38th minute, Bernardo Zenteno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gilberto Campillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Raúl Villaseñor was the one to do the kick off. Benedicto Vásquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre Arévalo. Tulduni AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Diego Armando Puelma hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Renaca FC's Adam Bahamondes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. But to his dismay, Juan Raúl Villaseñor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 78 minutes into the match, Tulduni AFC's Gaston Rocuant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Albert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan Raúl Villaseñor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dionisio Albert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Juan Raúl Villaseñor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
