The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 16 minutes, Fortunato Arend mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitripulli AFC and the Manquel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Quitripulli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fortunato Arend. Eduardo Nolibuat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Saa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Amigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Eastman in the 23rd minute of play. Miquel Langlois's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebio Amigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Manquel FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Abrahamsohn. Eduardo Nolibuat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Saa in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviano Bravo was the one to do the kick off. Quitripulli AFC's Eduardo Nolibuat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Alzola in the 55th minute of play. If Enrique Mariano Rochefort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Amigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviano Bravo in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Duardo Alzola made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Nolibuat. Quitripulli AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Franco Saa struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Eduardo Nolibuat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manquel FC. In the 69th minute, Franco Saa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Nolibuat was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 75th minute, Miquel Langlois made a precise shot to the right of Eusebio Amigo. Manquel FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The supporters of Quitripulli AFC booed when Manquel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermín Schiller didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game Marc Painevilu kicked a great long shot which passed Eusebio Amigo straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-2. One couldn't see Marc Painevilu behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. 90 minutes into the game, Enrique Mariano Rochefort was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quitripulli AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manquel FC the free kick. After 90 played minutes Quitripulli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Mariano Rochefort. After 93 minutes, Franco Saa made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Quitripulli AFC's Eduardo Nolibuat tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manquel FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quitripulli AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
