After 3 played minutes, Puchuncavi's Oscar Perales shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdul Bastidas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Puchuncavi reached it. When Puchuncavi's Constancio Landman in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chintaguay's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 played minutes Puchuncavi got a freekick which was hit by Alexandro Bacheler. When Valentín Albert came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Chintaguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentín Albert couldn't finish the play. Lázaro Kilpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Benicio Erwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Puchuncavi's Balendín Santiago in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chintaguay's goalie prevented a goal. Constancio Landman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chintaguay's Abdul Bastidas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balendín Santiago in the 39th minute of play. Constancio Landman scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdul Bastidas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdul Bastidas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balendín Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Puchuncavi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constancio Landman was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Balendín Santiago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdul Bastidas. Chintaguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Balendín Santiago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Valentín Albert scored 1-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Erwens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Balendín Santiago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Aceiton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balendín Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdul Bastidas having to interfere. If Valentín Albert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdul Bastidas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balendín Santiago in the 78th minute. Gabriel Pumaraboli kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Balendín Santiago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Abdul Bastidas made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Kilpatrick in the 91st minute of play forced Puchuncavi's goalkeeper Benicio Erwens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
