After a rather tough play, Puchuncavi's Severino Hormazabal got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Nicodemo Falcone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andoni Binfa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Erwens having to interfere. If Constancio Landman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constancio Landman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Cuchugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puchuncavi the free kick. A collision led to Cuchugano getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jeronimo Marful was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Puchuncavi's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Binfa came free, but Benicio Erwens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Puchuncavi's Benicio Erwens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salomone Barth in the 36th minute of play. Benicio Erwens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Bozo in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Constancio Landman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuchugano's Jeronimo Marful was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cuchugano booed when Puchuncavi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Hormazabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Puchuncavi's Benicio Erwens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Puchuncavi from getting a goal against them. Cuchugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomone Barth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes Puchuncavi got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Larraguibel. Puchuncavi were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
