Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Manuel Larraeta got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Codpa's Clemente Necochea got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Naelio Salas fired a really elegant long shot, but Reinaldo Berecedo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Eleazar Weisser might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Abella. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eleazar Weisser ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleazar Weisser, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute, Eleazar Weisser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Codpa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Pedro Manuel Larraeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Abtao FC booed when Codpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Zubiete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Angeloni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Pedro Manuel Larraeta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Berecedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The supporters of Codpa booed when Abtao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naelio Salas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Siengelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Manuel Larraeta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Reinaldo Berecedo. That made the score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Inocente Ascuí received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mario Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Desiderio Angeloni, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mario Abella was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Inocente Ascuí had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Abella made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocente Ascuí in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Pedro Manuel Larraeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Abtao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naelio Salas to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Codpa's Severo Fornes got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 79 minutes into the game, Victoro Thayer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abtao FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Codpa the free kick. Victoro Thayer hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Pedro Manuel Larraeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Manuel Larraeta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Inocente Ascuí came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Codpa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocente Ascuí couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Codpa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Abtao FC.
