After recieving a nice pass, Matilla's Gervasio Evans tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Matilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufino Hurtado to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Juan Fernando Duncker recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aristeo Lastarria. Juan Fernando Duncker showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Matilla's Jaume Tornero got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Juan Fernando Duncker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Fernando Duncker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristeo Lastarria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Jaume Tornero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aristeo Lastarria had great luck who in the 29thth minute grab hold of the ball when Juan Fernando Duncker from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Fernando Duncker in the 36th minute of play forced Quila's goalkeeper Aristeo Lastarria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miliano Boroevic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germán Seriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Quila's Aristeo Lastarria got control of the ball when Jaume Tornero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Eduard Anziani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Juan Fernando Duncker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Matilla's Juan Fernando Duncker made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristeo Lastarria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germán Seriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miliano Boroevic having to interfere. Juan María Pappenheim received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miliano Boroevic came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan María Pappenheim slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 94th minute. Matilla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quila for a fine match.
