Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match Jorge Vicente Echague shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Pairoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Germán Seriche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Germán Seriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germán Seriche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Amancio Pairoa made a huge save. In the 31st match minute, Quila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Vicente Echague to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Vinos Fournier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Pere Jordi Ovando notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Quila's Aristeo Lastarria. Aristeo Lastarria was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan María Pappenheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Amancio Pairoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Germán Seriche might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amancio Pairoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germán Seriche ran back to his position shaking his head. 46 minutes into the match, Quila's goal looked a bit too open when Gerónimo Urruticoechea came free, but Aristeo Lastarria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
In the 53rd minute Germán Seriche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Pairoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Pairoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan María Pappenheim in the 55th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Fernán Lattanzi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Pairoa skillfully saved the ball. Araucana AFC's Gerónimo Urruticoechea got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Quila's goalkeeper Aristeo Lastarria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerónimo Urruticoechea. Amancio Pairoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan María Pappenheim in the 77th minute of play. Amancio Pairoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Germán Seriche went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Gerónimo Urruticoechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84 minutes, Edgardo Unzaga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araucana AFC and the Quila players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes Araucana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Unzaga. Gerónimo Urruticoechea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Aristeo Lastarria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Ofelio Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerónimo Urruticoechea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 95th playminute. The Quila supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Araucana AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Araucana AFC.
