In the 14th minute Echedey Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariano Cañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Baltazar Coulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Portalupi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariano Cañas having to interfere. Ariano Cañas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Portalupi in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Cabrane AFC's Erasmo Maragaño got control of the ball when Ludovico Maristany tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Maragaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cabrane AFC's Erasmo Maragaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Cabrane AFC from getting a goal against them. The Longovilo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cabrane AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludovico Maristany made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ludovico Maristany managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Longovilo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludovico Maristany was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Cabrane AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristeo Galdames to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Miguel Salin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Telmo Daldos, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Longovilo's Baltazar Coulin got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ariano Cañas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Echedey Aguilar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 69 minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Gervasio Portalupi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Longovilo booed when Cabrane AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Porras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Baltazar Coulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 93 played minutes, Cabrane AFC's Telmo Daldos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ariano Cañas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cabrane AFC reached it. After 93 minutes, Baltazar Coulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Longovilo and the Cabrane AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Baltazar Coulin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Echedey Aguilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cabrane AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cabrane AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
