In the 27th minute Raúlo Damjan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xacobo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Huaracina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pacífico Gana came free, but David Israel Landon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Raúlo Damjan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raúlo Damjan had several of the Quelalmahue's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Xacobo Landa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jerardo Panussi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raúlo Damjan came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Huaracina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúlo Damjan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerardo Panussi got free with Xacobo Landa in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raúlo Damjan was the one to do the kick off. Jimeno Muzard kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Quelalmahue's Xacobo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerardo Panussi in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Pacífico Gana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Israel Landon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After having played for 64 minutes, Pacífico Gana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quelalmahue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pacífico Gana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Méndez in the 66th minute of play forced Huaracina FC's goalkeeper David Israel Landon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Alfonso Landoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but David Israel Landon made a huge save. David Israel Landon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Alfonso Landoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Abdul Méndez came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Quelalmahue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdul Méndez couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 80 in the game by Markus Millán from a close distance when the talented David Israel Landon managed to make a qualified save. Huaracina FC's players were relieved. Xacobo Landa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerardo Panussi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quelalmahue's Xacobo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerardo Panussi in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Raúlo Damjan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huaracina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 93 minutes into the match, Quelalmahue's Abdul Méndez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Israel Landon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Huaracina FC's zone, Markus Millán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Israel Landon came out of the goal and Markus Millán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
