But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nacho Mascaro couldn't finish the play. After 12 played minutes Naltagua AFC got a freekick which was hit by Selmo Marzi. If Jaume Hacke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. Quillaipe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Naltagua AFC the free kick. Naltagua AFC's Fidel Aedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Naltagua AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jaume Hacke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Aedo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game.
