Evaristo Aránguiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapiche. After having played for 8 minutes, Jaume Hacke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quillaipe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaume Hacke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 9thth minute of the game Jacindo Schnaidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapiche's Madeo Gana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bonifacio Bobadilla hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, one of Tapiche:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tapiche. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Quillaipe. Bairon Zubelzu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Madeo Gana. 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Cristián Argomedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quillaipe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapiche the free kick. After 17 played minutes Quillaipe got a freekick which was hit by Cristián Argomedo. Jaume Hacke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Madeo Gana having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaume Hacke in the 25th minute of play forced Tapiche's goalkeeper Madeo Gana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Puga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Evaristo Aránguiz made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Cristián Argomedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuelo Marín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Aránguiz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quillaipe's Cristián Argomedo got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rigoberto Puga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Evaristo Aránguiz having to make a save. Manuelo Marín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Aránguiz having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuelo Marín to strike the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Aránguiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Puga, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Jacindo Schnaidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Quillaipe booed when Tapiche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Bobadilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapiche's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jaume Hacke 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Manuelo Marín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Evaristo Aránguiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuelo Marín's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evaristo Aránguiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Quillaipe's goal looked a bit too open when Manuelo Marín came free, but Evaristo Aránguiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Roberto Moñiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Puga took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Aránguiz. Evaristo Aránguiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 93rd minute Rigoberto Puga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Aránguiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quillaipe's zone, Manuelo Marín stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Aránguiz came out of the goal and Manuelo Marín tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuelo Marín sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Quillaipe players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
