Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriel Evar got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Justo Montoya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Potrerillo's Podador Paillao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Potrerillo from getting a goal against them. In the 14thth minute of the game Abelardo Portales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diucao AFC's Justo Schneider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Juan Luis Berguecio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Diucao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Luis Berguecio couldn't finish the play. Podador Paillao made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Juan Luis Berguecio sent off a good shot on target. Juan Luis Berguecio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Podador Paillao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrico Quintanilla kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Abelardo Portales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Portales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Jaume Quevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute of the match José Javier Huaquil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Podador Paillao skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Potrerillo's Aaron Magallanes got a free kick in the 45th minute. Luis Angel Bahamondes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Podador Paillao. Potrerillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Portales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Potrerillo booed when Diucao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Biggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justo Montoya's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Justo Schneider skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 58 played minutes Diucao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Biggs. Potrerillo's Tinguaro Lafferte couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diucao AFC. In the 68th minute Abelardo Portales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Schneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Normando Araube fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potrerillo's protests and gave Normando Araube a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Potrerillo! When Diucao AFC's Gabriel Evar in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Potrerillo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute, Abelardo Portales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justo Schneider. The goal made the score 0-1. Justo Montoya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Schneider having to interfere. Abelardo Portales struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Justo Schneider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrerillo. If Justo Montoya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnoldo Biggs came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Diucao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Biggs couldn't finish the play. The Potrerillo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
