Timeteo Ribilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Podador Paillao having to interfere. Teofilio Mier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Podador Paillao. Potrerillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Christiano Camara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christiano Quera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Portales in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chalinguita FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tinguaro Lafferte was slow to take the kick. During this time Potrerillo's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tinguaro Lafferte got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christiano Quera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tinguaro Lafferte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christiano Quera. Chalinguita FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chalinguita FC's Teofilio Mier got a free kick in the 28th minute. Timeteo Ribilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvino Hiriart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Podador Paillao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Christiano Quera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timeteo Ribilla was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Chalinguita FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. José Javier Ibáñez hit a great ball. Abelardo Portales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Podador Paillao didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. When Justo Montoya came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Potrerillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Montoya couldn't finish the play. Christiano Quera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Camara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 76 minutes, Silvino Hiriart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chalinguita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvino Hiriart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 played minutes Chalinguita FC got a freekick which was hit by Zavier Vanohier. Abelardo Portales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Podador Paillao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timeteo Ribilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Chalinguita FC's Silvino Hiriart got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Silvino Hiriart could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Podador Paillao however easily saved by the left post. Silvino Hiriart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Podador Paillao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chalinguita FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
