Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paco Oropesa kicked off to start the match. If Xacobo Aguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niquen FC's José Francisco Docal got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Trivelli's late challenge caught a Niquen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Trivelli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Hilario Trivelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Niquen FC booed when Teguaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Trivelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes Teguaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manuel Acasuso. Angelo Peñafiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alirio Reina having to interfere. Niquen FC's Xacobo Labra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Niquen FC from getting a goal against them. Nafarroa Granic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Xacobo Labra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xacobo Labra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Oropesa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Nafarroa Granic struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Xacobo Labra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teguaco AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, José Francisco Docal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niquen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Francisco Docal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alirio Reina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Francisco Docal was the one to do the kick off. Niquen FC's Xacobo Labra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Oropesa in the 51st minute of play. Alirio Reina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xacobo Aguero in the 56th minute. Paco Oropesa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xacobo Aguero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Alirio Reina made a huge save. Xacobo Aguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Alirio Reina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When José Francisco Docal came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Niquen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Francisco Docal couldn't finish the play. José Francisco Docal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Nafarroa Granic managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teguaco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nafarroa Granic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xacobo Labra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Nafarroa Granic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teguaco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nafarroa Granic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niquen FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
