In the 5th minute Emiliano Polo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Masoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Urmeneta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baltazar Masoli. Aravilla's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Filomeno Vos de Vos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Val Sovino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copaquiri's goalkeeper Val Sovino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Aravilla fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Aravilla's Román Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd match minute, Aravilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Oña to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Masoli was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Sebastiano Fiedler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sebastiano Fiedler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Román Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Val Sovino having to interfere. Filomeno Vos de Vos took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Val Sovino. Val Sovino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 44th match minute, Copaquiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarías Isamit to maneuver through the defense. Aravilla's Josué Malfanti got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Souza in the 48th minute of play forced Copaquiri's goalkeeper Val Sovino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Román Souza made the kick off in the second half. Baltazar Masoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarías Isamit in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarías Isamit in the 60th minute of play forced Aravilla's goalkeeper Baltazar Masoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarías Isamit in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar Masoli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emiliano Polo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Baltazar Masoli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copaquiri. Emiliano Polo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltazar Masoli. Baltazar Masoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Román Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Aravilla's zone, Christian Parraguez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Masoli came out of the goal and Christian Parraguez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emiliano Polo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Baltazar Masoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aravilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copaquiri the free kick. Baltazar Masoli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarías Isamit in the 84th minute of the match. After 85 minutes, Xamín Argo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aravilla and the Copaquiri players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Xamín Argo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué Malfanti's late challenge caught a Copaquiri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josué Malfanti helped the player get up and apologised. 86 minutes into the game, one of Aravilla:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Copaquiri a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guido Urmeneta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aravilla's Baltazar Masoli. 3-2. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Filomeno Vos de Vos sped through Copaquiri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Val Sovino.
