After 4 minutes, Guillermo Arechavala made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barquitos's Barni Riveros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 20 minutes of play, Barquitos's Martin Sadin made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureo Prenafeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Abner Esteban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huitrapulli's supporters rose to their feet, but Abner Esteban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barni Riveros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 27 minutes in the game, Guillermo Arechavala fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Barni Riveros having to interfere. Aureo Prenafeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuelo Orozco in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Sadin in the 34th minute of play forced Huitrapulli's goalkeeper Aureo Prenafeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barni Riveros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abner Esteban, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
