The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heliodoro Uriondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Pau Coloma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Rollo Reole managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talcamo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rollo Reole was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karlos Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karlos Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrico Carretero in the 12th minute of play. The corner led Talcamo FC's Xamín Teran to a score. 1-1 in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Heliodoro Uriondo made a precise shot to the right of Pau Coloma. Talcamo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pau Coloma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruyman Lea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvatore Ardizzoni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rollo Reole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pau Coloma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruyman Lea's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Heliodoro Uriondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Pau Coloma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talcamo FC's goalkeeper Pau Coloma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruyman Lea was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Talcamo FC booed when FC Zulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manu Ravest didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FC Zulia's Salvatore Ardizzoni sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pau Coloma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Mario Ralph fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Zulia's protests and gave Mario Ralph a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Talcamo FC booed when FC Zulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Ralph didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute Heliodoro Uriondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pau Coloma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pau Coloma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Espinace in the 76th minute of the match. Pau Coloma was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruyman Lea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. FC Zulia's Xaime Irisarri was substituted for Heliodoro Uriondo. Mario Ralph got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Mario Ralph hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A long shot from Jon-Ander Quintupil in the 86th minute of play was well struck, but Pau Coloma made a really good save at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruyman Lea in the 87th minute of play forced Talcamo FC's goalkeeper Pau Coloma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruyman Lea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Xaime Irisarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, FC Zulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Espinace to maneuver through the defense. The Talcamo FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Zulia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
