If Francisco Antonio Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Corral in the 14th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafa Caroca made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Antonio Corral in the 54th minute of play forced Malalcuchi AFC's goalkeeper Ricardo Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Norino Magasich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Malalcuchi AFC's zone, Norino Magasich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Infante came out of the goal and Norino Magasich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Francisco Antonio Corral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Infante was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Francisco Antonio Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardo Infante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eulalio Iturralde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. Francisco Antonio Corral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Infante having to make a save. José Ignacio Sarfate's late challenge caught a Malalcuchi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Ignacio Sarfate helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Club Atletico Patagonia getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. José Ignacio Sarfate hit a great ball. Ricardo Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Antonio Corral in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Rafa Caroca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genaro Aiach. Rafa Caroca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Club Atletico Patagonia were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Malalcuchi AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
