The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florentino Mansilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Mallleco Unido got a freekick which was hit by Florín Canal. The Caspana FC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Caspana FC's Pedro José Segovia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Cristián Partarrieu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Mallleco Unido fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristián Partarrieu couldn't finish the play. If Cristián Partarrieu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Mallleco Unido's Florentino Mansilla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Maluenda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentino Mansilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Mohamed Galaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Peñafiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristián Partarrieu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Peñafiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro José Segovia in the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Caspana FC booed when Mallleco Unido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Enríquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Leopoldo Jacinto Giagier fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mallleco Unido's protests and gave Leopoldo Jacinto Giagier a yellow card for diving instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mallleco Unido walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
