Enrique Mariano Vaccia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benjamín Aichele went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Pau Acharan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Alejandro Schroeders in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Quirihue's goalkeeper Pau Acharan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Jullian. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Quirihue's Pau Acharan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Alejandro Schroeders in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quirihue's zone, Severiano Jullian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pau Acharan came out of the goal and Severiano Jullian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Hugo Mioño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Alejandro Schroeders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pau Acharan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Enrique Mariano Vaccia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemencín Arriagada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Clemencín Arriagada fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enrique Mariano Vaccia, passed just outside the right post. Clemencín Arriagada succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. With his leg Enrique Mariano Vaccia managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Quirihue's Benjamín Aichele fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes in the game, Clemencín Arriagada fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Enrique Mariano Vaccia having to interfere. Benjamín Aichele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Enrique Mariano Vaccia made a huge save. When Rafael Maria Fajardo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 90th match minute, Ovejeria AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Maria Fajardo to maneuver through the defense. If José Alejandro Schroeders had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Jullian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pau Acharan having to interfere. When Ariel Nicoletti fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quirihue's protests and gave Ariel Nicoletti a yellow card for diving instead. Ariel Nicoletti hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Quirihue supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quirihue would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
