Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luis Angel Arrate made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Saúl Tiñoli during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Neltume getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Carlos Saúl Tiñoli hit a great ball. Rigoberto Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban José Alba in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Corneche got a freekick which was hit by Elizalde Nordon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Angel Arrate in the 16th minute of play forced Corneche's goalkeeper Amato Felip to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 17 minutes, Gabriel Humeres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corneche and the Neltume players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Corneche got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Humeres. Amato Felip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Angel Arrate in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Esteban José Alba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amato Felip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Angel Arrate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Ibarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Amato Felip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Ubaldo Daniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Corneche were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban José Alba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Machado was a little too slow when Esteban José Alba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. 55 minutes into the match, Corneche's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Angel Arrate came free, but Amato Felip reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Corneche's Clemencín Araoz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rigoberto Machado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Luis Angel Arrate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neltume's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Angel Arrate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amato Felip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amato Felip showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Angel Arrate in the 70th minute of the match. Esteban José Alba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemencín Araoz's late challenge caught a Neltume's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemencín Araoz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Neltume booed when Corneche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemencín Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Victoriano Ibarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Luis Angel Arrate put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Amato Felip. A collision led to Corneche getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Elizalde Nordon hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Neltume's Pacífico Menares tried to score from far away in the 97th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Corneche players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
