The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Theobald Didier rounded Ancuta's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ángel Wenner sped through Apamica FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rosalio Trincado. In the 13th match minute, Apamica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Peronard to maneuver through the defense. Maurín Jadue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Toledo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Poulus Murdoch acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Delfino Navarrete. After having played for 31 minutes, Maurín Jadue managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurín Jadue was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Wenner in the 33rd minute of play forced Apamica FC's goalkeeper Rosalio Trincado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ancuta's Maurín Jadue got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poulus Murdoch made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Herminio Toledo sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Maurín Jadue managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ancuta's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurín Jadue was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosalio Trincado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ancuta's Poulus Murdoch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Ancuta from getting a goal against them. When Enzo Parrini fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ancuta's protests and gave Enzo Parrini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ancuta getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Enzo Parrini hit a great ball. Theobald Didier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Poulus Murdoch having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

If Ángel Wenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosalio Trincado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ángel Wenner in the 60th minute of play. Ricart Venezian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Ángel Wenner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rosalio Trincado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurín Jadue in the 73rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezmundo De Ferari during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ezmundo De Ferari hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Maurín Jadue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosalio Trincado. Apamica FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maurín Jadue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Apamica FC's Theobald Didier got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Ancuta's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Toledo came free, but Poulus Murdoch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ángel Wenner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosalio Trincado having to make a save. The Apamica FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ancuta's performance. The match ended with a win for Ancuta.
