The referee ignored Hualane FC's protests and gave Eustacio Calzada a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, Hualane FC's Ceandro Almendras threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Américo Añasco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edilberto Lavalle might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceandro Almendras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 51st match minute, Huallilemu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastián Soupper to maneuver through the defense. Yeray Benavides kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Hualane FC's Jordi Schnaidt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceandro Almendras came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hualane FC reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alcides Egaña in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elazar Alveal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceandro Almendras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edilberto Lavalle in the 67th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Añasco in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceandro Almendras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Edilberto Lavalle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elazar Alveal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alcides Egaña in the 81st minute of play. After 81 played minutes Hualane FC got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Schnaidt. Elazar Alveal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Yeray Benavides. Alcides Egaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Huallilemu FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hualane FC.
