In the 11th match minute, Tiliviche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Ramon Penschke to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Quitral came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Constancio Atria could save by the left post. Niguel Waddington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Evans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Cosme Quitral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes, Diuquin FC's Clemencín Lauwerens shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constancio Atria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Diuquin FC reached it. After 31 minutes, Asier Castañeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diuquin FC and the Tiliviche players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Oxman was the one to do the kick off. Tiliviche's Constancio Atria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Quitral in the 54th minute of play. Ysmael Segarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Evans having to interfere. Patricio Oxman might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constancio Atria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patricio Oxman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute, Cosme Quitral made a precise shot to the right of Constancio Atria. Tiliviche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemencín Lauwerens in the 63rd minute of play forced Tiliviche's goalkeeper Constancio Atria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Niguel Waddington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
