After 3 minutes, Odilón Lambert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valpo UXX and the Chacaicillo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Valpo UXX got a freekick which was hit by Odilón Lambert. Zarpas Durango struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Carlo Matetich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chacaicillo AFC. Carlo Matetich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norino Cumplido in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Valpo UXX getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Odilón Lambert hit a great ball. The supporters of Chacaicillo AFC booed when Valpo UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valiente Passalacqua didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norino Cumplido in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlo Matetich saved Valpo UXX from getting behind. Elodio Christie kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Chacaicillo AFC booed when Valpo UXX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odilón Lambert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xavi Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavi Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, Valpo UXX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavi Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Valiente Passalacqua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Alfredo Uriona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Norino Cumplido to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Valpo UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Norino Cumplido came free, but Carlo Matetich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valpo UXX's Carlo Matetich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zarpas Durango in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Valpo UXX getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Juan Luis Rueda hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Valpo UXX defense, Zarpas Durango kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Matetich. The Valpo UXX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Matetich should have stopped the shot. Zarpas Durango received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Carlo Matetich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlo Matetich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norino Cumplido in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Chacaicillo AFC's Norino Cumplido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlo Matetich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Carlo Matetich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zarpas Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norino Cumplido in the 69th minute of play forced Valpo UXX's goalkeeper Carlo Matetich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norino Cumplido took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlo Matetich. Carlo Matetich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Norino Cumplido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Carlo Matetich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Uriona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Passalacqua, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Zarpas Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Matetich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Matetich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norino Cumplido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Zarpas Durango got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th match minute, Valpo UXX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Passalacqua to maneuver through the defense. Valiente Passalacqua hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Chacaicillo AFC's Zarpas Durango in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valpo UXX's goalie prevented a goal. After 93 minutes of play, Chacaicillo AFC's Norino Cumplido made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlo Matetich was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 97thth minute of the game Norino Cumplido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valpo UXX's Carlo Matetich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
