If Juan Cristóbal Doursther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Illescas during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute of the match Modestio Pastene shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Antonio Balmaceda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Graneros's goalkeeper Mikel Anthony had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juan Cristóbal Doursther. Juan Cristóbal Doursther struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mikel Anthony didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CONEJO VELOZ. When Dalmacio Méndez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Graneros's protests and gave Dalmacio Méndez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Méndez to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikel Anthony saved Graneros from getting behind. Juan Cristóbal Doursther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mikel Anthony tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Domeyco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Juan Cristóbal Doursther who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graneros's Mikel Anthony was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikel Anthony made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Rogerio Bocanegra sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Graneros's zone, Celestino Philippi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikel Anthony came out of the goal and Celestino Philippi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikel Anthony came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by CONEJO VELOZ's Juan Cristóbal Doursther. But to his dismay, Juan Cristóbal Doursther quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Christian Domeyco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikel Anthony read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Graneros booed when CONEJO VELOZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Pardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Graneros's Modestio Pastene broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Graneros's Marcos Azagra got a free kick in the 64th minute. Juan Cristóbal Doursther recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Cristóbal Doursther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Mikel Anthony tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Cristóbal Doursther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikel Anthony showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Cristóbal Doursther in the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Juan Cristóbal Doursther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CONEJO VELOZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Cristóbal Doursther was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, CONEJO VELOZ's Ilmar Helemäe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikel Anthony made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Sarracino Escalona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but José Antonio Balmaceda made a huge save. If Juan Cristóbal Doursther had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Juan Cristóbal Doursther managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 95th minute Rogerio Bocanegra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikel Anthony saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Rogerio Bocanegra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mikel Anthony was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. CONEJO VELOZ fully deserved thier win.
