An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Garzón in the 6th minute of play forced Huilquilemu AFC's goalkeeper Ofelio Balmaceda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matteo Wilshaw struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leoncio Barrenechea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huilquilemu AFC. The supporters of Pachama booed when Huilquilemu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Matildo Pizarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Remigio Garzón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigio Garzón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Remigio Garzón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ofelio Balmaceda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Remigio Garzón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ofelio Balmaceda. Huilquilemu AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigio Garzón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Silvestre Malherbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Balmaceda having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pachama's goalkeeper Leoncio Barrenechea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eriberto Ferreccio's late challenge caught a Pachama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Ferreccio helped the player get up and apologised. Eriberto Ferreccio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Pachama were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Pachama's zone, Matteo Wilshaw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leoncio Barrenechea came out of the goal and Matteo Wilshaw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leoncio Barrenechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Urquijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Leovigildo Munizaga's late challenge caught a Huilquilemu AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leovigildo Munizaga helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pachama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 61st match minute, Huilquilemu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerardo Puelma to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Leovigildo Munizaga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ofelio Balmaceda skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Pachama's Leovigildo Munizaga got a free kick in the 67th minute. Leoncio Barrenechea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Urquijo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Amancio Aramburu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Balmaceda having to interfere. Josías Ruiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Malherbe kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Sebastiano Balcazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Nemesio Urquijo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leoncio Barrenechea. Pachama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nemesio Urquijo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 87 minutes of play Huilquilemu AFC's Eriberto Ferreccio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Huilquilemu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Ferreccio to maneuver through the defense. If Remigio Garzón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Garzón succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 95th playminute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
