Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Próspero Marmolejo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Huilco got a freekick which was hit by Luis María Abasolo. If Juan Luis Quitral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xamín Concha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Próspero Marmolejo in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Juan Luis Quitral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Huilco's goal looked a bit too open when Próspero Marmolejo came free, but Xamín Concha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juan Luis Quitral came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Huillinco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Luis Quitral couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Próspero Marmolejo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xamín Concha. In the 20th minute Juan Luis Quitral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xamín Concha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Próspero Marmolejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Huillinco's Juan Luis Quitral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xamín Concha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Valerio Sotelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baudelio Cardoso in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Edilberto Ortuguren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Valerio Sotelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Huilco's goal looked a bit too open when Próspero Marmolejo came free, but Xamín Concha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Próspero Marmolejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 61st minute, Huilco's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan Luis Quitral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Próspero Marmolejo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xamín Concha having to make a save. When Edilberto Ortuguren came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Huilco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edilberto Ortuguren couldn't finish the play. Teofilio Antipa hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Valerio Sotelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baudelio Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The supporters of Huilco booed when Huillinco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edilberto Medel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Luis Quitral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Huilco's Edilberto Ortuguren got a free kick in the 94th minute. Huillinco's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
