Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernie Kenney, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. A collision led to Combarbala getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ernani Bittencourt hit a great ball. Åke Uggla kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Combarbala's Oscar Passet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Combarbala from getting a goal against them. Ernie Kenney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Passet having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, RKO AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zenaido Schmauk came free, but Fernando Felo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenaido Schmauk in the 26th minute of the match. Combarbala's Marín Escuti suffered a sore thigh after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a defensive mix-up in RKO AFC's zone, Zenaido Schmauk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Felo came out of the goal and Zenaido Schmauk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. RKO AFC's Ernie Kenney got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute of the game Ernani Bittencourt made a throw-in which Roy Matute played forward. Fernando Felo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenaido Schmauk in the 41st minute of the match. When Åke Uggla fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RKO AFC's protests and gave Åke Uggla a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, RKO AFC's Åke Uggla got a free kick in the 44th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute Celedonio Fenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Passet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Fenner kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Manu García's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Felo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, Ernie Kenney was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RKO AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Combarbala the free kick. In the 58th minute, Ernie Kenney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Combarbala's Oscar Passet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernie Kenney in the 68th minute of play. Fernando Felo made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Andreas Modig sent off a good shot on target. If Ernie Kenney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Passet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernie Kenney in the 83rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Giorgos Kyriakopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for RKO AFC! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Combarbala. Andreas Modig stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Felo. 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Combarbala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
