The supporters of EL CREADOR FC. booed when Copaquire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Echedey Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Copaquire from getting a goal against them. Josué Aguileras short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Jonatan Parrau to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Copaquire's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Faustino Bassenge was slow to take the kick. During this time EL CREADOR FC.'s players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Theobald Cousiño heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in Copaquire's zone, Normando Maack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Parrau came out of the goal and Normando Maack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonatan Parrau made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Guntademaro Gorigoytía sent off a good shot on target. 16 minutes into the game, EL CREADOR FC.'s Josué Aguilera nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonatan Parrau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lorenzo Celedón sped through EL CREADOR FC.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lino Marfan. Normando Maack succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 30th playminute. Jonatan Parrau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guntademaro Gorigoytía in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Normando Maack ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Parrau was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 43rd minute, EL CREADOR FC.'s Josué Aguilera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guntademaro Gorigoytía got free with Jonatan Parrau in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josué Aguilera was the one to do the kick off. Mario Lemos's late challenge caught a EL CREADOR FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Lemos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute Guntademaro Gorigoytía shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Parrau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, EL CREADOR FC.'s Guntademaro Gorigoytía nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 74th minute Normando Maack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Parrau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Copaquire's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Aguilera came free, but Jonatan Parrau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Aguilera in the 79th minute of play forced Copaquire's goalkeeper Jonatan Parrau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Josué Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Guntademaro Gorigoytía made a precise shot to the right of Jonatan Parrau. Copaquire's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. After having played for 85 minutes, Josué Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL CREADOR FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Josué Aguilera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Copaquire's Jonatan Parrau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Aguilera in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Xavier Roco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL CREADOR FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Roco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes EL CREADOR FC. got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Roco. If Guntademaro Gorigoytía had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that EL CREADOR FC. were the better team. EL CREADOR FC.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
