The supporters of Paredones AFC booed when General Manuel Baquedano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlos Domeyco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disvandis Garzón took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rambo Ramírez. General Manuel Baquedano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rambo Ramírez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juanjo Bacheler in the 21st minute. After 23 played minutes Paredones AFC got a freekick which was hit by Disvandis Garzón. Feliberto Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Alfonso Panatt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Reinaldo Agudo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rambo Ramírez came out and tried to block the shot, but Reinaldo Agudo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. General Manuel Baquedano's Rambo Ramírez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Davy in the 33rd minute of play. Mannuel Fontaine's late challenge caught a Paredones AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mannuel Fontaine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Mannuel Fontaine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Paredones AFC's Disvandis Garzón tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro José Pimentel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rambo Ramírez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Pedro José Pimentel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paredones AFC and the General Manuel Baquedano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 42 played minutes Paredones AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro José Pimentel. In the 44th minute, Adam Davy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rambo Ramírez. The goal made the score 3-0. A collision led to General Manuel Baquedano getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Mannuel Fontaine hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juanjo Bacheler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Davy in the 52nd minute of play forced General Manuel Baquedano's goalkeeper Rambo Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Paredones AFC's Adam Davy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rambo Ramírez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Rambo Ramírez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Davy, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in General Manuel Baquedano's zone, Máximo Hagedorn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rambo Ramírez came out of the goal and Máximo Hagedorn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Disvandis Garzón fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paredones AFC's protests and gave Disvandis Garzón a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th minute, Disvandis Garzón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Agudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rambo Ramírez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Agudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The Paredones AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. General Manuel Baquedano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
