Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) José Marcelo Vildosola made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the U de Chile defense, José Marcelo Vildosola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Alberto Gaviño. The U de Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Alberto Gaviño should have stopped the shot. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro José Gamboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Marcelo Vildosola in the 10th minute of the match. José Marcelo Vildosola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Alberto Gaviño having to interfere. After a rather tough play, U de Chile's Alfredo Herzell got a free kick in the 17th minute. A hard shot by Sarracino Agurto from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Tom Howard's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Roland Vaccia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tom Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro José Gamboa came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Crucero del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro José Gamboa couldn't finish the play. After 45 minutes of play, Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis Alberto Gaviño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Pedro José Gamboa notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño. Luis Alberto Gaviño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Crucero del Sur's Pedro José Gamboa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Alberto Gaviño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Javier Escobillana in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño got control of the ball when Pedro José Gamboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes U de Chile got a freekick which was hit by Paulín Burgos. After 70 minutes, José Marcelo Vildosola made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Pedro José Gamboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crucero del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro José Gamboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Alberto Gaviño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Marcelo Vildosola, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 85th minute, Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Alberto Gaviño. Luis Alberto Gaviño yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Luis Alberto Gaviño had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when José Marcelo Vildosola from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. José Marcelo Vildosola might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Alberto Gaviño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Marcelo Vildosola ran back to his position shaking his head. When Crucero del Sur's José Marcelo Vildosola in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U de Chile's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the match, José Marcelo Vildosola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luis Alberto Gaviño, 0-7.
