Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cucu Gol took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona B's Odol Huaiquiman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Alberto Gaviño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Manuel Pradenas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Barcelona B's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U de Chile the free kick. After 8 played minutes FC Barcelona B got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pradenas. Alfredo Herzell kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Odol Huaiquiman took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Alberto Gaviño. Luis Alberto Gaviño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luis Alberto Gaviño stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cucu Gol's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cucu Gol took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Alberto Gaviño. Luis Alberto Gaviño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Roland Vaccia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Vaccia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanío Vos de Vos having to make a save. After 35 minutes, Gustavo Armstrong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona B and the U de Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona B's Gustavo Armstrong got a free kick in the 35th minute. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cucu Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Luis Alberto Gaviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odol Huaiquiman in the 66th minute of play. Paulín Burgos's late challenge caught a FC Barcelona B's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulín Burgos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, U de Chile's Paulín Burgos got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Cucu Gol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute, Cucu Gol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Barcelona B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cucu Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Odol Huaiquiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Alberto Gaviño having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Odol Huaiquiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona B's supporters rose to their feet, but Odol Huaiquiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Alberto Gaviño breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the FC Barcelona B players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
