Arturo Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Vaccia in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 minutes, Yeray Berger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U de Chile and the Palpaico FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yeray Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Alfredo Herzell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Arturo Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Theobald Piedra hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, U de Chile's José Alejandro Huaiquipan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed José Alejandro Huaiquipan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U de Chile protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and José Alejandro Huaiquipan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. José Alejandro Huaiquipan kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save U de Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute of the match Osvaldo Pruniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Borubar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roland Vaccia hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. A hard shot 48 in the game by Benicio Socho from a close distance when the talented Luis Alberto Gaviño managed to make a qualified save. U de Chile's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benicio Socho was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes U de Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Próspero Macera who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Próspero Macera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but U de Chile's Luis Alberto Gaviño did a great save. 57 minutes into the game, Palpaico FC's Benicio Socho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Alberto Gaviño made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Luis Alberto Gaviño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Socho in the 65th minute of play. Luis Alberto Gaviño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Socho, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, U de Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Theobald Piedra came free, but Luis Alberto Gaviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U de Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Socho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 90 minutes into the match, Palpaico FC's Benicio Socho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Alberto Gaviño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palpaico FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
