Isaiás Pareja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dagoberto Cameno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Raffo in the 3rd minute of play. Ferrán Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés Ossandon went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rdth minute of the game Romualdo Hetz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MFD Eindhoven's Dagoberto Cameno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dagoberto Cameno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romualdo Hetz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dagoberto Cameno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romualdo Hetz in the 30th minute of the match. Ferrán Suarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Alberto Lerga in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norino Zuasnabar in the 41st minute of play forced MFD Eindhoven's goalkeeper Dagoberto Cameno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaiás Pareja's late challenge caught a C.D. Pepino’s's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaiás Pareja helped the player get up and apologised. Isaiás Pareja hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Alberto Lerga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ojeda to maneuver through the defense. Pepino’s fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 84th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 86 minutes, MFD Eindhoven's José Alberto Lerga got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ferrán Suarez. MFD Eindhoven's Albin García was substituted for Jhon Wisgerhof. MFD Eindhoven's Erasmo Orozco was substituted for Francisco Miguel Sotta. A collision led to C.D. Pepino’s getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Maximino Cortazar hit a great ball. MFD Eindhoven played a much better game than C.D. Pepino’s and deserved their victory. The C.D. Pepino’s players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
