The ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Marcelo Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Eterno Campeón's goalkeeper Leandro Daneri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Salas in the 19th minute of play. Marcelo Salas took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leandro Daneri. Leandro Daneri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Marcelo Salas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Daneri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Salas ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Marcelo Salas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Daneri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Salas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Daneri having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, El Eterno Campeón's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salas came free, but Leandro Daneri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Eterno Campeón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ma Zheng Yuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. Leandro Daneri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Salas in the 30th minute of play. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Ma Zheng Yuan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leandro Daneri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Salas in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Daneri saved El Eterno Campeón from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Marcelo Salas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri. Leandro Daneri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the game, Marcelo Salas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Leandro Daneri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Salas in the 43rd minute of play forced El Eterno Campeón's goalkeeper Leandro Daneri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Rodrigo Barrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ and the El Eterno Campeón players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Rodrigo Barrera got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Marcelo Salas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leandro Daneri. That made the score 0-6 after 52 minutes of play. Leandro Daneri didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Marcelo Salas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. El Eterno Campeón's Leandro Daneri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Ubarna Marcos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Daneri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. After 81 played minutes Ubarna Marcos could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-12 into the left cross. Maurín Munita's late challenge caught a ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurín Munita helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Danél Van Schowen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-13 when Ubarna Marcos sped through El Eterno Campeón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Daneri. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
