General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Pruniel in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Duardo Pruniel came free, but Henry Tucknott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the General Velásquez defense, Duardo Pruniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Tucknott. The General Velásquez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Tucknott should have stopped the shot. The supporters of General Velásquez booed when Ornitorrincos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobías Jarpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Vicente Squella made a kick off. Jorge Vicente Squella succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 57th playminute. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duardo Pruniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes General Velásquez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duardo Pruniel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Duardo Pruniel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but General Velásquez's Henry Tucknott did a great save. In the 65th minute Ornitorrincos F.C. were awarded a corner. Duardo Pruniel went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Domingo Vivero managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. General Velásquez were furious when Johny De Raeijmaecker was red carded, 67 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for General Velásquez! Ornitorrincos F.C.'s César Bertrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 79th match minute, General Velásquez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofan Bozadzhiyski to maneuver through the defense. Reces Bacheler took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Tucknott. Henry Tucknott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Henry Tucknott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reces Bacheler, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the Ornitorrincos F.C. defense, Adam Ansola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of César Bertrand. The Ornitorrincos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that César Bertrand should have stopped the shot. 94 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's Adam Ansola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that César Bertrand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 97 played minutes General Velásquez got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Tidéksson. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. General Velásquez had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
