General Velásquez's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Casos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Massa was the one to do the kick off. Henry Tucknott made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Casos in the 56th minute. Tigran Khachaturyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Goycolea in the 57th minute of the match.
