Tigran Khachaturyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carlos Zapata in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Massa in the 35th minute of play forced Ornitorrincos F.C.'s goalkeeper César Bertrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reces Bacheler got free with Tigran Khachaturyan in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Bertrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Hernandez in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Salamón Ovalle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toqui Fc and the Ornitorrincos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ornitorrincos F.C.'s César Bertrand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Ornitorrincos F.C. from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Reces Bacheler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5.
