An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Van Der Linden in the 4th minute of play forced Talcampeón FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Rondanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Van Der Linden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Neruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Fritz in the 9th minute of the match. Edgardo Rondanelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Van Der Linden, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes Talcampeón FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rutenio Anatibia who took care of the corner kick. In the 16th minute Manuel Caviedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Rondanelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Talcampeón FC's Mikel Señoret slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ismael Neruda. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Aurelio Paredes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lolo Acharan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ismael Neruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Van Der Linden took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Rondanelli. Edgardo Rondanelli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lolo Acharan in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ismael Neruda, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ismael Neruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Fritz in the 38th minute of the match. Edgardo Rondanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Caviedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lolo Acharan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Marcelino Fritz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of BuLLangueros's Ismael Neruda. Ismael Neruda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Talcampeón FC's Lolo Acharan managed to work through BuLLangueros's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lolo Acharan dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
