After 4 minutes of play, Marmeleiro FC's Igor Pena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vânderson Mota was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 12 played minutes Dênis Maranhense rounded Marmeleiro FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Nuno do Vale came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Eduardo Donato could save by the left post. Luizinho Penha charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizinho Penha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vânderson Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Mota having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Marmeleiro FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dênis Maranhense fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rui Pontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vânderson Mota having to make a save. Vânderson Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Pena in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Paulão Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Eduardo Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Dênis Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Donato having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Fontes during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Dênis Maranhense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cazuqui SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Maranhense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Eduardo Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 74 minutes, Rui Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marmeleiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rui Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Fontes got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 77th minute, Enrique Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cazuqui SS's Tarcisio de Carvalho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marmeleiro FC. 81 minutes into the match, Marmeleiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno do Vale came free, but Carlos Eduardo Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 84th minute when Nuno do Vale elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nuno do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo Donato having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Dênis Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cazuqui SS's Nuno do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
