Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Timbahuba SS's Edinho Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Mendes in the 6th minute of play. Jarbas Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otávio Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manoel Pernambucano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Jarbas Maia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 21 minutes of play, Timbahuba SS's Otávio Zonta made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute of the match Nuno Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edinho Alagoano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Otávio Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Timbahuba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Zonta couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Inhapim's Jarbas Maia got control of the ball when Manoel Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otávio Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Maia having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Otávio Zonta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timbahuba SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Zonta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Maia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Chiquinho Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a left leg Jarbas Maia saved Inhapim from getting behind. Otávio Zonta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
