Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evandro Veloso started the match with the kick off. Chambica FC's Luiz Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Veloso in the 10th minute of play. When Cléberson Marinho fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chambica FC's protests and gave Cléberson Marinho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Chambica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Evandro Veloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrício Porto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Quirino having to make a save. Evandro Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Evandro Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capado's goalkeeper Gilvan da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Capado got a freekick which was hit by João Paulo Garcia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léo Peres in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilvan da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 35 minutes, Lauro Arruda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chambica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lauro Arruda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chambica FC's goalkeeper Luiz Quirino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrício Porto took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Quirino. Luiz Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Chambica FC's Alfredinho Trancoso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilvan da Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lauro Arruda to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Chambica FC got a corner. Capado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natã Vasconcelos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chambica FC's corner Natã Vasconcelos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilvan da Cunha quite easily take care of the ball. After 56 played minutes Capado got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Coutinho. Chambica FC's Lauro Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Paulo Garcia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pedro Augusto Tande's late challenge caught a Capado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Tande helped the player get up and apologised. If Patrício Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 75 minutes, Patrício Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrício Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Capado's Luiz Quirino threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evandro Veloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Chambica FC booed when Capado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredinho Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Gilvan da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chambica FC. Cléberson Marinho was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th minute, Cléberson Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredinho Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilvan da Cunha having to make a save. Alfredinho Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Capado had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
