Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Adeque AD's Gualter Alagoano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Renatinho Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo da Rocha in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Gerber saved Adeque AD from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Décio Carvalho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rômulo Damião. Verdao SC's Fred Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Adeque AD's Gualter Alagoano got a free kick in the 30th minute. Pedrão Proença hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Verdao SC's Rômulo Damião proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Verdao SC from getting a goal against them. Arnaldo da Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Adeque AD's Renatinho Freitas got a free kick in the 40th minute. Verdao SC's Acácio Paraíba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Adeque AD. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fred Guedes made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Adeque AD's zone, Arnaldo da Rocha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Gerber came out of the goal and Arnaldo da Rocha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fred Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnaldo da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Gerber was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Fred Guedes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fred Guedes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The supporters of Verdao SC booed when Adeque AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Adeque AD's Décio Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rômulo Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Décio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Damião having to interfere. Verdao SC's Rômulo Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Carvalho in the 71st minute of play. If Décio Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 played minutes Adeque AD got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Freitas. In the 78th minute, Acácio Paraíba sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Adeque AD's Falcão Gerber didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silas Fontes during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arnaldo da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Falcão Gerber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match, Adeque AD's goalkeeper Falcão Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo da Rocha. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Guedes in the 97th minute of play forced Adeque AD's goalkeeper Falcão Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
