Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Matías Prestes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Prestes in the 7th minute of play forced Soares EC's goalkeeper Elói Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 12 minutes on the clock, Ronaldão Terra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 18th match minute, Soares EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arí de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Rubens Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Galvão having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Soares EC got a freekick which was hit by Arí de Lara. After 25 played minutes, Itaguacu SC's André Luís Guimarães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elói Galvão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itaguacu SC reached it. In the 26th minute, Itaguacu SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dagoberto Paraíba fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Elói Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Batista in the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Paraíba got free with Ronaldinho de Barros in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Itaguacu SC booed when Soares EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Batista in the 42nd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dagoberto Paraíba hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enéas Batista got free with Elói Galvão in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Galvão having to interfere. Dagoberto Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldinho de Barros having to make a save. Enéas Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Enéas Batista was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itaguacu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soares EC the free kick. After having played for 64 minutes, Enéas Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaguacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enéas Batista struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Elói Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itaguacu SC. After having played for 76 minutes, Enéas Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itaguacu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldinho de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Paraíba's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that César de Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho de Barros was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Dagoberto Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldinho de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 100 minutes into the game, Arí de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ronaldinho de Barros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Itaguacu SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Soares EC.
