Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vasantes FC's Christian Jacinto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of C.A.Pirassununguense booed when Vasantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, C.A.Pirassununguense's Otávio Andrade got control of the ball when Luiz Fabiano Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fabiano Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otávio Andrade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Vasantes FC's Luiz Fabiano Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. C.A.Pirassununguense's Otávio Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Jacinto in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Vale during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vasantes FC's Christian Jacinto got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Washington Xavier having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Luís Gustavo Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Gustavo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Washington Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio Couto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otávio Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

53 minutes into the match, C.A.Pirassununguense's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Seco came free, but Otávio Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Vale in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Otávio Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, C.A.Pirassununguense's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Jacinto came free, but Otávio Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Vale ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Queirós during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.A.Pirassununguense's Hugo Queirós got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Queirós got free with Washington Xavier in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute Christian Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
